What is ARTS?
ARTS — the Association for Retail Technology Standards, part of the National Retail Federation — is the retail industry's standards body. For more than 30 years it has defined the shared data language retail systems run on, including POSLog (the standard for point-of-sale transaction data) and the retail Operational Data Model, now stewarded by the Object Management Group. ShopVisor's tools are built directly on ARTS, so every answer is grounded in the standard your systems already speak — not generic AI guesswork.
